How do I apply for a card?

To receive your Warren County Library Card, you must present a valid form of identification and complete a registration form at one of our library locations. You can also start the registration process by applying online- click on Apply for a Library Card button.

Proof of Residency Identification

Any item which is up to date and shows current name and address (no P.O. boxes) such as: 

  • Valid property tax receipt
  • NJ driver's license or non-driver's license
  • Lease agreement
  • Voter registration card
  • Any photo ID which contains address
  • Utility bill or credit card bill
  • Witness with proper ID who can vouch for the applicant
  • NJ firearm purchaser card
  • FAA pilot license
  • State professional license
  • Bank statement
  • Tax return
  • Current health insurance card
  • Veteran's Administration universal access photo ID
  • NJ public assistance card with photo

Important Information

Due to inclement weather, Warren County has closed all county government offices for Wednesday, March 21st.  All branches of the Warren County Library will be closed.  Stay home and stay safe!
