Museum passes are currently unavailable to be checked out.

Adventure beyond our library buildings and experience art, culture, and history with our Museum Passes.  We offer access to an array of museums that provide entertainment and education for all ages.

    Battleship New Jersey

  • Free admission for 2 adults and up to 3 children under the age of 18. 
  • In addition, passholders receive 15% off in the gift shop and 15% off the Overnight Program.

 

 

 

 

 

At the Battleship New Jersey, see the artifacts from the ship’s past. Sit in the chair from which Admiral Halsey commanded the fleet. Stretch out on the bunks where the sailors slept. Climb into the 16” gun turret and learn how the projectiles were loaded. Pass available at the Northeast Branch.

Eastern State Penitentiary

  • Free admission for up to 6 people.
  • Good for daytime general admission only.
  • Not recommended for children under 7.

Eastern State Penitentiary was once the most famous prison in the world. Its vaulted, sky-lit cells once held may of America's most notorious criminals including Al Capone and Slick Willie Sutton. Pass available at the Southwest Branch.


Grounds for Sculpture

   Grounds For Sculpture

  • Free admission for up to 4 peoople.  Please note that this pass does not include discounts to GFS restaurants or shops.  Pass holders are not required to make an advanced time reservation to visit GFS.

 

 


Grounds For Sculpture is a 42 acre sculpture park, museum and arboretum located in Hamilton, New Jersey.   Visit www.groundsforsculpture.org for information. Passes available at the Catherine Dickson Hofman Branch and Headquarters.


   Imagine That!!!

  • Free admission for up to four people.

 

 



At Imagine That!!! children are encouraged to touch, discover, learn and explore in over 16,000 square feet of space, featuring over 50 unique exhibits.  Imagine That!!! is a safe environment where young children can stretch their legs and their imaginations.    Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

  • Free admission for up to two people.
  • Express members-only line.
  • Discounted guest tickets: $18 adult, $13 child.

 

 

 

                                                              Step onto the aircraft carrier Intrepid and enter your gateway to history, science and service.  Admission includes free access to the Intrepid Museum, Space Shuttle Pavilion, and the submarine Growler.    Guggenheim Museum

  • Free admission for 4 adults or students.
  • Children under 12 are free.
  • Half price tickets for additional guests.

   Lehigh Valley Zoo

  • Free admission for 2 adults and 5 children.

Morris Museum

   Storm King Art Center

  • Free admission for 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 18 residing in the same household.

 

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky.  Visit https://stormking.org for museum information. Guidelines:

  • Borrowers must be 18 years of age or older, with a valid Warren County library card with no outstanding charges.
  • Museum passes may be reserved at the front desk of the library or by calling the owning branch directly.
  • Museum passes can only be checked out to the person who reserved the pass.  They must present their library card at the time of checkout.
  • Passes may be picked up after 2:00pm the day prior to the reserved date, and must be returned no later than 11:00am the day after the reserved date.
  • A late fee of $15.00 per day will be charged if the museum pass is not returned on time.  Museum passes that are more than 3 days overdue will be declared lost by the library.  Borrowers will be charged $50.00 for a lost museum pass.
  • Library passes must be returned to the issuing library only.  A $15.00 fee will be charged if the pass is returned to another location.
  • Library members may borrow one pass per day.
  • Borrowers are responsible to call the museum for hours of operation, parking or directions.  Each museum determines the rules and regulations governing the use of its museum pass.  The museum pass may not provide admission to all exhibits at the museum.  The library will not provide additional funds for admission beyond the issuance of the family museum pass.
  • Borrowers are advised to have a back-up plan in case the museum is unexpectedly closed, or if a museum pass is not returned in time for the reservation.  The library assumes no responsibility of any kind arising out of the reservation or use of museum passes or any parking accommodations.

The Museum Pass program is made possible through funds raised by The Catherine Dickson Hofman Board of Trustees, Friends of the WCL Headquarters, Friends of the Southwest Branch, and Friends of the Northeast Branch.
