VolunTeens
The Library is currently seeking teens (rising 9-12 grades) to volunteer this summer! Tasks will include assisting staff with maintaining the space, preparing for programs, creating displays, cleaning and organizing children’s play spaces, summer log check-in, and other assignments as needed.
- Apply May 1 - May 30 (drop off completed form at your preferred branch)
- Summer session: June 15-August 15
- Students would commit to volunteering 1-3 hours per week (excluding vacations)
- Participating branches: Gardner (Belvidere) and Hofman (Blairstown)

Virtual VolunTeens
Earn service hours while reading and sharing your views! Warren County teens are invited to read and review newer books. Accepted reviews will be used to promote the books in the library (shelf card), in the catalog (Syndetics Unbound review via WCL Youth Services account), social media, during school visits, and more. Reviewers will be credited with their first name and last initial.
- Read/listen to any book, ebook, audiobook, or graphic/manga that is part of the Warren County collection.
- Book must have been published within the last 1 year.
- Books must be on or near the student’s reading level, preferably from the Library’s middle grade or young adult collections.
- Accepted reviews will earn 2 volunteer hours per review. There is a limit of 2 review submissions per month.
